Orinova Capital Acquires Alexander Lofts
Expanding the Firm’s Wisconsin Portfolio to Four Properties and More than $30 Million in Assets Just One Year After its Founding.
MILWAUKEE — Orinova Capital, a joint venture between J. Jeffers & Co. and Ryan Strub, announced today the acquisition of Alexander Lofts, a 60-unit multifamily property in Milwaukee, for $6.3 million. The firm will focus on stabilizing operations at the property and retaining occupancy. Brokered by CBRE, Alexander Lofts is the third distressed multifamily acquisition this year for Orinova Capital.
Originally constructed in 1919 as the historic Hill Department Store and thoughtfully redeveloped into loft-style apartments in 2017, Alexander Lofts offers a differentiated product set featuring high ceilings, hardwood floors, quartz and granite countertops, gated parking and modern amenities. Above the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, the 2017 redevelopment was a collaborative project with the City of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Public Library System.
